Life takes a village. Welcome to mine, Robin Arzón. You do not know me, but you have helped me to “protect my peace” for the past 25 days. Your encouragement and empowering words have helped me push myself. I am honored to consider you part of my Village. To be a villager, one must inspire others to live their best lives, they must offer positivity, and encourage others to pursue the next solution. You have done that for me.

When I wrote my last post, I was 10 days into owning a Peloton. I was already obsessed. Since that time, I have only missed 2 days of riding, and those were due to travel. While I intend to do a one month review on the 9th, which is my Pelonaversary, I felt that today everyone could use the Voice of a Villager that I’ve met since my Peloton riding career began named Robin Arzón to kick off their week.

Robin not only has amazing taste in music (read: she uses music that I like on her Peloton spin rides), but also has a no-holds-barred attitude. She is clear that your ride is your journey, but excellence is available for your taking. Each ride is filled with nuggets of truth like those seen below. With Covid-19 in full swing, the upcoming school year decision-making weighing on me, business a little slower than normal, and the climb more uphill than comfortable at the moment, her voice is a refreshing reminder that we can do hard things. When her words meet endorphins, I leave my bike ready to rock and roll. Even if you are not a Peloton person, you can appreciate these words.
