While we were in SC, a family we were friends with had this unique looking chair in their dining room. It was for their son, and it caught my attention. ET told me that she found it online, that her kids LOVED it, and that it was able to grow with them as they got older. I thought, wow! Fantastic! But, we already have our high chairs and everything we need, so we don’t need it. Well, a few months later, we realized we needed something other than the Graco high chair and the hanging-off-the-table type of chair. Enter the Tripp Trapp (the name of the unique chair in the T house). It is more expensive, but takes the place of all of the interim equipment: high chair, booster, stool, and chair. It goes from baby to adult using adjustable seating heights! We added it to our table, and AJ loves it. She can sit right at the table, and learn manners by not separating her at meal time. She doesn’t drop half as much on the floor, because she doesn’t have a weird gap between her and the table anymore. The other equipment is still around, and will probably be used for the new baby for a while at least. But, there will definitely be another Tripp Trapp in our future. What a great idea!
