Wedgits are a great gift for children of a wide variety of ages. These are toys that act like a new-age version of Legos can build in both the vertical-horizontal and diagonal directions. My mom got WickedGirl her starter set, and WickedMotherInLaw got her two extension packs. For the younger children, the pieces are large, easy to hold, and bright colored. As the child gets older, there are cards included in the packaging that illustrate design challenges. Some of them are complicated enough that even adults in our house have derived pride from completing them! It’s a great toy for all ages.
