In our house, one of our new traditions is to put a sock in it. By “it” I mean Christmas, and by “sock” I mean stocking! This year, my in laws came to town for the holiday. My mother-in-law knew that we didn’t have stockings for everyone, and decided to make a permanent solution: LL Bean Stockings for ALL! She got them for everyone in Hubby’s family of origin, our kids, me, and my parents. Even though my parents weren’t with us THIS holiday, they may be at some point, and for that reason need their own. LL Bean is a great store with strong integrity headquartered in Freeport, ME. These stockings have been in their catalog since I was a child, so I have no doubt that if/as we add another child or have other people as part of our holidays, we can just order the additional stockings. They are super durable and well made. Thats good, because we are going to be using them forever!
