I actually found a video online that said “one of the biggest challenges you’re gonna face in life is how to fold a fitted sheet”. This chick must have a whacked out life if this is one of her biggest challenges. No kids, husbands, jobs, or anything else. She is pretty stinkin’ lucky. Though I have many larger hurdles in life, I do admit to having my blood pressure go up and saying a few choice (possibly French) words when I have to fold a big ol’ fitted sheet. It is also quite possible that I make WickedHubby “help” or do this chore for me. That was until I found a great page (115) in Martha Stewart Living’s Good Things for Organizing book. It showed a great step by step on how to take care of this problem, and to save room in my linen closet. Instead of a list of 10 random facts this week, I decided that it’d be better to include the instructions that I actually found on her website today. Maybe I can save you the hassle of fighting with the sheet, or some space in your closet if you are like I was and just store them wadded up in a ball (who DOES that?!). Oh, and if you’re looking for another Martha gem on saving space in your closet? Use one of the pillow cases for each of your bedding sets to store the matching pillowcases, sheets, and fitted sheets. If you do, then you won’t have to look for them or have mismatched bedding anymore!! Here is the link on how to fold your sheets!

Somehow, I am motivated to re-nest my linen closet before taking a picture for this post. Check back in a couple of days for a picture (if you’re interested). My SC closet was all pretty baskets and wonderfulness… That hasn’t happened here yet. For now, I entice you with this inspirational photo that I found for a Great Idea: an organized linen closet! The photo originally appeared on page 54 of Storage Magazine’s Summer of 2005 edition.
